Eva Van Assche

Eva Van Assche (PhD) is docent-onderzoeker bij de onderzoeksgroep Mens en Welzijn, onderzoekslijn Psychologie en technologie. Ze focust op hoe digitale toepassingen (bv. applicaties) bijdrage kunnen leveren aan de geestelijke gezondheidszorg.

Over Eva

Eva Van Assche is master in de psychologie (Theoretische en Experimentele Psychologie) en behaalde haar doctoraat aan de UGent. Ze werkt als lector binnen de opleiding Toegepaste Psychologie en als onderzoeker aan de onderzoeksgroep Mens en Welzijn van Thomas More. Haar praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek richt zich op de toegevoegde waarde van digitale toepassingen zoals smartphone applicaties binnen de geestelijke gezondheidszorg en hoe deze op een duurzame manier geïmplementeerd kunnen worden. Ze werkte de afgelopen jaren aan het Europese eMEN project gefinancierd door Interreg en werkt momenteel als onderzoeker voor Onlinehulp Vlaanderen. Als lector doceert ze Methoden van Psychologisch Onderzoek 1 en 2, en Digital Mental Health, waarbij zeker in dit laatste vak mooi de link gelegd kan worden naar het praktijkgericht onderzoek naar digitale toepassingen in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg.
